We are seeking a full-time Logistics Support Officer based in our office in Newstead. This position provides logistic support to facilitate the packing and transportation of containers from warehouse to port. This is a fixed term one-year role.

Responsibilities: 

  • Create warehouse packing orders
  • Prepare and lodge EDN and request for permit applications
  • Facilitate booking truck transportation
  • Liaise with shipping lines for booking and container releases
  • Process contracts and ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Providing assistance for data entry of export information via in-house program

Attributes and skills:

  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Positive attitude with ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Previous administration experience
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced position

 

    Desired:

    • Understanding and knowledge of export documentation
    • Commodities experience
