Our Strengths in Indonesia
We are active in grains merchandizing and distribution in the domestic market, and have extensive palm oil operations that include origination, storage, processing and merchandizing of palm oil products.
Indonesia is one of the largest exporters and producers of palm oil. We operate a palm oil refinery in Balikpapan, as well as another palm oil refinery, a bulking station and a port in Lampung.
LDC is the first company licensed to operate a wholly foreign-owned biodiesel facility in Indonesia. Situated beside our palm oil refinery, Lampung biodiesel plant has an annual production capacity of up to 420,000 tons of palm methyl ester (PME) and 50,000 tons of crude glycerin.
Committed to Sustainability
In addition to our strong merchandizing capabilities, growing product portfolio and reputation for reliability and integrity, our leading position in grains and oilseeds is also connected with our commitment to responsible sourcing, traceable supply chains and sustainable business practices globally.
Increasing traceability in our palm and soy operations is also central to our sustainability efforts, to encourage responsible land use and non-conversion of native vegetation for soy and palm cultivation.
