Our Strengths in Singapore
Singapore is the hub for our regional cotton business, including China’s vibrant emerging market, where we are number one for domestic and import marketing. We are also the leader in cotton origination and shipping from Australia, relating on our network of six gins and warehouses, and the leading cotton merchant in India.
Our business development plans are focused on expanding domestic trade flows in China, India and Pakistan, where we are the only international merchant present.
We specialize in pricing and risk management solutions for both growers and textile mills, as well as in buying, classing, warehousing and delivery of domestic cotton from major production areas to customers throughout the region.
Our cotton teams have built up solid capabilities in risk management, and extensive market insights and knowledge of cotton supply and demand in major cotton growing and consumption areas, with expert trading teams to serve customers worldwide and ensure the timely delivery of cotton qualities that meets their expectations.
