Louis Dreyfus Company and Temasek Lifesciences Accelerator to Collaborate on Agri-food Innovation
Singapore, 20 November 2019 – Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) and Temasek Lifesciences Accelerator (TLA) jointly announced today the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will see both companies cooperate to advance agri-food innovation in the region.
Signed on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Agri-Food Innovation Week in Singapore today, the MoU aims to support the commercialization of promising technologies and innovation, as well as to explore joint investment opportunities.
The cooperation will facilitate LDC’s access to new or potentially disruptive technology under TLA’s portfolio of start-ups. It will also allow TLA and its incubatees to benefit from LDC’s supply chain and extensive asset network for market penetration and strategic cross-border partnerships. Leveraging TLA’s expertise in life sciences and LDC’s diverse, global agricultural footprint, both parties will collaborate to trial innovations, with a particular focus on the nutrition and life sciences sector.
