To address the growing requirements for corporate reporting and analysis, LDC has initiated the implementation of an advanced BackOffice solution, leveraging SAP S/4, known as Project BOLD – BackOffice Louis Dreyfus.

By acquiring expertise aligned with LDC's core financial processes within our S/4 Hana solution, the role of the Consultant for Accounting and Tax is pivotal in facilitating change and playing a crucial part in our ambitious SAP Program.

In this role, the  Consultant oversees the evolution of the solution, including managing enhancement requests and their prioritization in collaboration with the business. Additionally, they are actively involved in implementations that affect the solution, including managing dependencies with other solutions. External communication with solution development and potential modifications within the company is essential, along with acting as an internal consultant.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Solution Oversight:

  • Oversee accounting and tax solutions and their interaction within the finance and trading software ecosystem.
  • Design solutions based on business needs and collaborate on designing flows spanning various applications.
  • Maintain close collaboration with different departments.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of processes, including generating change requests.
  • Manage new requirements and ensure up-to-date documentation for the solution.
  • Oversee change management processes associated with the solution
     

2. Expertise and Leadership:

  • Play a key role in the highest expertise team by offering proposals and information to support decision-making by solution’s Subject Matter Experts.
  • Translate business needs into solutions and manage business relationships to define priorities and business value.
  • Lead topics in Rollout, Ad-Hoc and other Projects.
  • Ensure effective communication and take ownership of measurable indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate, inform, and communicate with partner applications to ensure end-to-end design.
  • Develop action plans for continuous improvement and resolution of recurring incidents.

3. Support and Team Development:

  • Provide support to level 3 teams for complex matters.
  • Transfer knowledge to the support teams to enhance their autonomy in handling the solution.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship  within the team.
  • 3y experience in IT projects
  • Experienced in SAP FI Module
  • Experienced in SAP FI Tax
  • Experienced with test campaign executions & automation tool
  • Experience with interface implementation will be considered as plus
  • Experience with JIRA and ServiceNow is a plus
  • Experience working in International multi-cultural environment
  • Experience working in a large IT company, team-oriented & collaborative environment

  • Work on Accounting, Tax, and reporting solutions, including SAP integration by participating in Rollout, Ad-Hoc and other projects.
  • Participate in solution design decisions as a member of the design solution board.
