Louis Dreyfus Company is a leading merchant and processor of agricultural goods. We leverage our global reach and extensive asset network to deliver for our customers around the world – safely, responsibly and reliably.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Cottonseed Administration Officer. This position will be filled on a full-time permanent basis, at our Newstead office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Revision of cotton seed sale and purchase contracts entered by traders in the seed system
  • Ensure that all seed sale and purchase contracts are forwarded to customers and signed copies returned 
  • Entering all sale and purchase contract, all movements, load details into the system as and when weight tickets and loading reports are received. 
  • Create and send invoices out to customers
  • Complete contract adjustments and issue miscellaneous invoices as required
  • Follow up all outstanding load reports, weight tickets and seed releases to ensure loads are invoiced as soon as possible
  • Reconcile all release numbers to sales invoices
  • Enter transport and broker invoices into the system as required.
  • Complete end of month accruals for freight, brokers and loads received and delivered.
  • Update and ensure the accuracy of the cotton seed logistics spreadsheet where related to the admin function.

Essential Skills

  • Data entry / transactional processing experience with high attention to detail
  • Highly organised to ensure efficient processing of data and adherence to required timelines
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to multi skill and manage multiple tasks
  • Intermediate Excel skills
