Globally/regionally defines and executes sourcing strategies and the following activities :
- Lead the sourcing activities on purchasing services, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment following established purchasing policies and procedures and optimizes price, delivery, and terms.
- Responsible on supplier performance review and feedback to vendor
- Category Management: Deliver specific category goals within a category plan/program in line with the organization's purchasing/procurement and/or sales strategy.
- Cost Accounting: Evaluate costs and identify variances or opportunities to improve profitability for more senior colleagues.
- Sourcing: Collect and analyze the key cost drivers market dynamics and issues areas of innovation and alternative suppliers for a low-risk area with many alternatives and minimum costs to change in consultation with relevant functions to provide solid market information for decision-making.
- Contract Management: Responsible for a portfolio of contracts and negotiate service level agreements. Support and monitor activities relating to major contracts.
- Manages Complexity: Makes sense of complex high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems. For example looks at complex issues from multiple angles; explores issues to uncover underlying issues and root causes; sees the main consequences and implications of different options.
- Ensures Accountability: Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments. For example accepts responsibility for own work both successes and failures. Handles fair share and does not make excuses for problems. Usually meets commitments to others.
- Communicates Effectively: Develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. For example listens attentively and takes an interest. Keeps others well informed; conveys information clearly concisely and professionally

- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level
- 8–12 years of progressive procurement experience in commodities, energy, raw materials, or heavy industry sectors, ideally within a multinational or matrixed organization.
- Proven track record in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management across multiple regions or globally.
- Direct experience with category management, particularly in services, equipment, and technical commodities.
- Strong involvement in contract lifecycle management, from drafting and negotiation to performance monitoring.
- Experience with supplier performance evaluation, including development of KPIs, scorecards, and feedback loops.
- Familiarity with cost accounting principles, especially related to cost modeling, variance analysis, and profitability improvement.
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration with teams such as legal, finance, engineering, and operations.
- Experience working in diverse, multicultural environments with cross-border teams.
- Understanding of international trade regulations, customs, and geopolitical risk factors impacting sourcing.
