Our DT&A (Digital Technology & Analytics) Global Back Office Services is looking for a Solution Manager for their Global E-Invoicing Program to be based in Lyon.

Mission

As a Solution Manager, you have the role of ensuring LDC business stays compliant with the new tax regulation. You will ensure e-invoicing and tax compliance everywhere LDC operates. While monitoring the evolution of Tax legislation. You integrate E-Invoicing in our system guaranteeing operation continuity. You drive exchanges with other LDC services (Front office systems, Back-office systems, Data Integration, etc.) to leverage other services’ strengths and avoid double-work.

Product vision: In partnership with business stakeholders from various regions, you will be defining the Core model for E-invoicing and ensure its evolution in compliance with all the local regulations. You build your roadmap, priorities, initiatives, and communication plans that maximize value, adoption, and satisfaction of the solution. You own the delivery of the solution and its associated metrics (SLA (Service Level Agreement), …).

Organization and governance: You will have to organize the governance around the solution. You will build the delivery model to ensure fast time to market to follow the local regulation deadline and the local specific system landscape.

Delivery: As a Solution Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of interfaces with local authority through intermediary partner. You will orchestrate alignment between business stakeholders, enterprise architecture, business analysts and developers. You will analyze complex issues, provide efficient solutions, test deliveries, train and ensure adoption activities are carried out by the business stakeholders/Tax department. You will ensure the backlog is healthy, clean, and prioritized. Part of your role is managing vendors and ensuring you get the expected performance from them. You control any implementation that touches your solution and manage dependency with other solutions.

Change Management: As adding a new step in the Invoicing process can impact the day-to-day work for our execution, tax, and accounting teams, you will accompany the business on new regulation requirements and explain the new processes to be followed.

Support: you ensure support at level 1 and 2 is properly handled and you get involved in escalation mode at level 3 when the solution needs to be changed to ensure continuity. You also ensure documentation is up to date and you manage the transition to Run.

Contract management and budget: you will be managing the budget for your scope. Handing and participating in the contractual discussion. Ensuring the SOW (Statement of Work) is respected by all parties.

As a solution owner:

  • You are the solution designer, based on business and legal requirements.
  • With other application leaders, you design cross application flows.
  • Work closely and confidently with various departments.
  • You are ensuring maintenance and enhancement of your process, produce request for change.
  • Ensure the documentation of the solution is up to date.
  • You help Manage change with BPOs.

As a solution manager you will be leading a team and will be expected to:

  • Manage your team’s capacity and activities.
  • Work closely with the adoption manager, supporting and championing our processes.
  • Provide support to your manager to stay aware of your solution strategy and define strong and long-term solutions.
  • Make proposals and provide information to support decision making concerning the solution Subject Matter Expert
  • Understand the business needs and translate into a solution.
  • You do business relationship management to align priorities and ensure business value.
  • Elaborate action plans for continuous improvements of the solution and solving recurrent incidents.

You will be supporting level 2 and 3 teams for the most complex topics.

  • Perform Knowledge transfer to support team and develop their autonomy in the solution.
  • Give guidance on solutioning.

IT Skills

Experience

  • [Must] 5years experience in IT project or operational experience in financial, invoicing or taxes.
  • [Must] Experience analyzing, implementing, and supporting enterprise business systems.
  • [Must] Experience in diverse project teams, able to switch between distinct roles from individual contributor to leadership, and skilled in contributing to structured project planning, organization, and management.
  • [Plus] Experience on Finance/Tax projects
  • [Plus] International multi-cultural environment
  • [Plus] Experience working in a large IT company and collaborative environment.

Languages

  • English (Fluent)

Education

  • Master’s degree in finance with an experience in IT, or master’s degree in computer science with a specialization in Enterprise Finance
