The Ginner is in charge of their shift and must ensure the efficient, effective and safe operation of all areas under his control. This is to be perform in a consistent way in which the ginner has been instructed, to oversee, manage and ensure all areas of the Gin production are operating safely and within state and federal guidelines.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- SHE (Safety, Health and Environment)
- Gin Operation and Safety
- Housekeeping
- Maintenance
- Employee Supervision
- Work permits
Skills and experience to be successful in this role include:
Essential:
- Background in, Mechanical, Electrical, hydraulic, fitter, welding, or fabrication
- Working within a strict safe work environment
Desired:
- Strong supervision skills in a maintenance/production environment
- Mechanical, maintenance and/or electrical knowledge
- Computer literacy
- Reporting
- Machine Operation
- Leadership abilities
