    We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team at our Abbotsford office. Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will be responsible within the areas of systems control, management reporting, fixed assets integrity, bank account reconciliation and specialist support mainly within the Supply Chain Division.

    The responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to the following:

    • Monitoring (bill integrity) transactions with other internal systems.
    • Monitoring and generating bulk shipping charges.
    • Monthly run of invoicing reports and end of month reconciliation of volumes.
    • Monthly processing of Supply Chain journals.
    • Completion of month-end balance sheet ledger reconciliations.
    • Support for the maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register ensuring assets are reconciled back to the general ledger and all depreciation journals.
    • Daily reconciliation bank account.
    • Production of weekly labour reports for Supply Chain Managers.
      • Finance or Accounting undergraduate degree.
      • Working towards membership of Professional accounting organisation. (e.g.CPA)
      • 3+years experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain industry.
      • Strong organisational and time management skills.
      • Good communication skills, and
      • Ability to work well in a team environment.
