Our Strengths in China

The Cotton Platform in China operates merchandizing and logistics for both domestic and imported cotton.

We specialize in pricing, buying, classing, warehousing and delivery of domestic cotton from major production areas to customers throughout the country.

Thanks to insights into cotton supply and demand in major growing and consumption areas, our cotton team has built up solid market and risk management expertise.

From our office in Beijing, LDC coffee teams manage raw cotton sourcing from major origins in China and sales to textile mills around the country, relying on a large-scale network of warehouses and storage sites to move cotton from gins to mills rapidly and effectively.

Our standard contract terms facilitate transactions, and we customize marketing strategies to suit buyer and seller needs.

Committed to Sustainability

From sourcing certified cotton to promoting best practice within and beyond our value chain, we work proactively toward increasingly sustainable operations and supply chains, both ourselves and in collaboration with partner organizations such as the Better Cotton Initiative.
