  • Primary involvement in the generation Daily Position and Daily P/L for Singapore (45%) & India Sugar (10%) trading desks and Global Palm Distribution – India (45%). The position provides the opportunity to lean the fundamentals of the commodity trading business 
  • Understanding trading Terms and Strategies 

  • Generate and analyze Daily Positions and PL for Sugar (Singapore and India Entity) and Palm (India) 

  • Liaise with Trading and Execution, Risk Management Teams and accounting to achieve the daily task schedules.  

  • Manage foreign exchange exposure 

  • Solve regional P&L and control issues as required, contribute to the Global platform reporting processes 

  • Independently reconcile discrepancies related to contracts booking between the front and the accounting systems 

  • Review of the  physical trading position and the hedging strategy 

  • Manage pricing function and the derivatives pricing impact 

  • Manage physical contract amendments and liaise with the contracts department 

  • Investigation of queries and follow up with the trading desk and the logistics function. 

  • Process and system enhancement, specifically Atlas development and improvement 

  • Ensure the application and compliance of the LD financial policies 

  • Risk reporting and VAR analysis 

  • Minimum 2-3 Years of experience preferably audit and accounting and controlling experience.
  • CA / Post graduate with preferably with studies in the Commerce/Finance field. 
  • Basic understanding of Derivative market and its instruments 
  • Basic understanding of Accounting Principles 
  • Positive attitude and enthusiastic approach 
  • Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines, significant liaison with the offshore offices 
  • Strong Communication skills and command over English language 
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and to take initiatives, proactive attitude toward problems

Job Description
