At LDC, we’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst who will shape the way our business using technology. You’ll be hands-on with system design, process improvement, and application management, all while making sure our teams have the tools and knowledge to succeed. 

The Senior Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in the design, implementation, documentation, and training of LDC’s enterprise systems, processes, and business intelligence reporting tools. This position is responsible for mapping and documenting systems, business rules, and procedures, as well as researching, procuring, and maintaining software applications that drive business success. The role will establish application protocols, ensure usability, and provide internal consultation and training to enhance system efficiency and user experience. 

Key Responsibilities (not limited to): 

  • Conducting gaps analysis to identify gaps with existing system functionalities, reports, and controls 
  • Document functional specifications working to facilitate developments 
  • Running testing procedures to ensure quality and performance. 
  • Training and supporting teams so systems are easy to use. 
  • Leading system upgrades, improvements, and solving BAU issues. 
  • Owning the full application lifecycle – Configuring, training, testing, and keeping it running smoothly. 
  • Running workshops to identify current and best-practice procedures 
  • Designing and rolling out PowerApps and Flow solutions to simplify and automate processes. 
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions. 

Essential skills & Experience  

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IT best practices and principles. 
  • Broad technical expertise in software, applications, and cloud technologies. 
  • Proven project management skills. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills. 
  • Proficiency in data analysis and database queries. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in dynamic environments. 
  • Strong team collaboration skills. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or Information Technology; or
  • Undergraduate degree in Business Management, Business Analytics, or Information Technology; or
  • Completion of a Business Analyst certification.
