The company has been successfully operating a Global Center of Expertise in Sofia, Bulgaria, providing professional and shared services in the areas of technology, finance, credit administration, insurance, compliance, freight and others since 2014.

Based in Sofia, the candidate will be part of the Central Treasury team (based between Lyon, Paris, and Geneva). She/he will be the referent for all Treasury-reporting aspects for EMEA region and will be responsible for the good quality of the treasury data.

She/he will closely interact with EMEA cash management teams to collect information, improve processes and optimize treasury efficiency. Besides her/his regional duties, the candidate will also conduct Global projects & central analysis

She/he will report functionally to Central Treasury Controlling and Regionally to the EMEA Financing Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

EMEA Treasury Reporting:

  • Gather and ensure accuracy of financing data from local Treasury contacts.
  • Monitor daily cash-flow allocation and prepare liquidity reports.
  • Share monthly Treasury highlights with management and reconcile quarterly data with accounting figures.
  • Collaborate with FP&A team on regional Cash Flow Forecast production.

EMEA Treasury Optimization & Controlling:

  • Identify savings opportunities in terms of bank lines usage, financing instruments, cash balance optimization and intercompany funding alternatives
  • Propose actions to improve treasury efficiency and reduce costs.

Corporate Projects and Other Treasury Matters:

  • Participate in global projects like intercompany centralization and Cash Flow Forecasts migration.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of Treasury Reporting systems.
  • Occasionally assist with daily operations for learning and backup purposes.

    Experience:

    • 3 years of experience in a Finance position within an international company (preferably in Treasury functions or financial reporting)

    Technical & Functional skills:

    • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Power BI (if possible)
    • Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail
    • Financial & Accounting skills
    • Knowledge of Treasury Management system (Quantum, Trax) is a plus

    Soft skills:

    Education:

    • Business school / University degree in Finance/economics or similar
