Main accountabilities (Main Responsibilities):

 

  • Data Quality Assurance:
    • Implement and oversee data quality standards, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
    • Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to identify and rectify data anomalies.
    • Develop and maintain data quality metrics and KPIs.
  • Timeliness and Reliability:
    • Monitor data pipelines and workflows to ensure timely data ingestion, transformation, and delivery for models and insights.
    • Work closely with cloud infrastructure, operations, data engineering and analytics teams to optimize data processing efficiency.
    • Address any bottlenecks or delays promptly.
  • Process Optimization:
    • Continuously improve data management processes, creating an automation culture to ensure scalablity and efficiency.
    • Streamline data workflows to maximise quality and value, and reduce manual effort.
    • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices.
  • Collaboration and Leadership
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that data management processes align with the company’s goals and objectives.
    • Foster a collaborative environment within the data team.
    • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to meet business goals and DataOps related KPIs.
    • Manage and lead a team of data management professionals.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and other external partners.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data operations, data management, or a similar role.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data management or a related field.
  • Experience working with data management tools and technologies.
  • Experience developing and implementing data management support strategies.
