The Internal Audit Department seeks a Continuous Audit and Monitoring Analyst with solid experience in audit or data analytics to join the Continuous Audit and Monitoring Central Team in Sofia. Since 2020, the department has accelerated its efforts towards Continuous Audit and Monitoring, leveraging various technologies (e.g., rules-based tests using Python, machine learning tests, & other AI tools) to automate controls monitoring and audit tests.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinating activities across Continuous Audit and Monitoring streams globally (split by commodity business units & functions) through periodic meetings and regular interactions with Internal Audit teams and other departments in different regions. This includes planning and coordinating continuous audits (i.e., review of the exceptions or outliers flagged by the automated tests), implementing improvement initiatives, and managing knowledge sharing.
- Supporting or performing various Continuous Audit and Monitoring tasks such as onboarding stakeholders, deploying or improving automated tests, and building reports or dashboards (e.g., using Power BI).
- Participating in continuous audit rounds (at least once a year). This involves (i) checking information on source systems & the relevant supporting documentations, (ii) interacting with relevant departments globally (iii) performing further audit procedures to identify potential issues or gaps, and (iv) recommending action plans to address noted issues or gaps.
- Monitoring and following up on the reviews done by other departments for some automated tests (where these departments are the primary review), in coordination with the regional Internal Audit teams.
- Contributing to the improvement of the global Continuous Audit and Monitoring program by (i) providing feedback on enhancing existing automated tests (e.g. adjusting tests parameters to improve results or remove false positives), and (ii) sharing ideas for new automated tests to be considered for deployment.
- Participate in the conventional/standard internal audits on ad-hoc basis as guest auditor when opportunities arise

- Min. 3 years of work experience in audit and/or data analysis
Soft Skills:
- Adaptable, able to change priorities quickly, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Works well in a team, while also effective in working independently with appropriate supervision when needed
- Proactive and comfortable working in challenging situations in a lean team environment
- Detail and solutions-oriented
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
Technical Skills:
- Technical knowledge of any data analysis tool (e.g., Excel or Power BI)
- Ability to develop scripts (e.g. Python) or experience using AI tools is a plus, but not required
- Familiar with continuous audit & monitoring is a plus, but not required
Language:
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
