- Prepare, monitor, and analyze the Trading Positions, Daily/Weekly P&Ls, FX Exposures, Cashflow Forecast for the Palm businesses
- Provide commentary and analysis on Desk/Platform performance
- Keep abreast of business strategies, operations, and market news to be aware of risks of business results or misconduct.
- Provide any ad-hoc analysis upon Platform/Region's request to support business decision-making
- Liaise with the Accounting team to ensure the accurate month-end closing in accordance with internal deadlines and reporting requirements
- Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders from other departments such as Commercial, Execution, Accounting, Finance, and IT teams
- Propose/Champion/Participate/Collaborate with colleagues in other Departments in business process improvement initiatives or regional projects to align/streamline processes in line with LDC's Trade to Cash Principles.
Experience
Experience |
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Control/ Business Analysis/Management Accounting/Audit
- Working knowledge of Financial Markets, in particular Commodity and Foreign Exchange Markets
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Power Bl is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for details
- Good business sense with high level vision
- Ability to identify/control weaknesses and implement process improvements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills ability and willingness to interact effectively with all levels of employees & management
- Ability to handle/prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Independent self-starter who takes initiative and has a proactive attitude toward problems and issues.
- Flexibility of working hours during periodic closings
