Operational Control Analyst

• Prepare, monitor, and analyze the Trading Positions, Daily/Weekly P&Ls, FX Exposures, Cashflow Forecast for the Palm businesses
• Provide commentary and analysis on Desk/Platform performance
• Keep abreast of business strategies, operations, and market news to be aware of risks of business results or misconduct.
• Provide any ad-hoc analysis upon Platform/Region's request to support business decision-making
• Liaise with the Accounting team to ensure the accurate month-end closing in accordance with internal deadlines and reporting requirements
• Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders from other departments such as Commercial, Execution, Accounting, Finance, and IT teams
• Propose/Champion/Participate/Collaborate with colleagues in other Departments in business process improvement initiatives or regional projects to align/streamline processes in line with LDC's Trade to Cash Principles.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Control/  Business Analysis/Management Accounting/Audit 
• Working knowledge of Financial Markets, in particular Commodity and Foreign Exchange Markets 
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel 
• Knowledge of Power Bl is a plus 
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for details 
• Good business sense with high level vision 
• Ability to identify/control weaknesses and implement process improvements 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills ability and willingness to interact effectively with all levels of employees & management 
• Ability to handle/prioritize multiple responsibilities 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
• Independent self-starter who takes initiative and has a proactive attitude toward problems and issues.
• Flexibility of working hours during periodic closings
