This internship is designed to give students exposure and experience in international business through hands-on work in tactical execution for domestic and export operations, contract control, warehousing, export documentation and shipment visibility and planning. There will also be opportunities for strategic network analysis. An integral part of the internship will be an applied research project based upon business need and student interest.
LDC seeks exceptional college juniors or seniors eager to demonstrate their potential. We are looking for the brightest, outgoing students with the drive to maintain our excellence. An educational background in accounting or business, is desirable, but is not the only credential considered for this internship. Qualified candidates must be able to act decisively, think critically and communicate well. During the interview process, we encourage candidates to ask questions about our company and what we do, so that they reach a good understanding of LDC and how they may fit into our organization.
