Summary
Continuous improvement engineer takes responsibility of all CI matters in Fuling to support the achievement of SHE, quality, efficiency and cost target:
- DNA program implementation, standardization system creation, specific improvement and optimization in production field as well as administrative area with related tools, such as: kaizen event, innovation, 5S, etc.;
- Asset KPI performance tracking, maintaining & improving;
Key Duties and Tasks
- Build and sustain CI system; Deliver necessary training to employees;
- Conduct DNA program in asset and perform regular auditing internal and external;
- Responsible for 5S & visualization in asset; the goal is to build a model plant ;
- Create standardization system in asset and ensure related standard files ready for operation;
- Promote TPM pillars according to demand of asset, such AM, PM, etc.;
- Industry KPIs follow up and identify the opportunities in process as well as facilitate improvements;
- Support regional CI activity;
- Other tasks assigned by line managers.
Experience
Experience |
Bachelor's degree or above, major in industry engineering, or related is preferred.
2-3years experience in production or manufacturing field. At least 1 year experience in continuous improvement.
Be familiar with CI tools, such as: 5S, TPM, standardization, Kaizen event, VSM, ARCA, 5-Why, etc.;
Excellent problem-solving knowledge, with the capability to handle tasks within the asset both production and administrative area;
Ability to leading change;
Good Leadership and supervising skills; Strong senses of responsibility and self-driven ability.
Be able to work under pressure, have good communication and interpersonal skills;
Proficient in Microsoft software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Good presentation and moderation skills;
Ability to give CI or relevant training;
Nice to have: six sigma Green Belt certification and project management experience;
Good English verbal and Written;
