Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage intra-day and EOD controls covering FX, credit, equities, and derivatives activity in the fast-paced global markets.
  • Manage implementation of new processes in line with business initiatives.
  • Close liaison with post trade services, trading, sales globally to resolve issues and minimize financial impact.
  • Verification of life-cycle decisions across the portfolio in real-time as barriers triggers and expiry/call decisions are made.
  • Validation of new trades – both vanilla deals and structured products in the risk system.
  • Daily and intra-day reconciliation across all books to ensure that positions are accurate.
  • Monitor and respond to queries from sales, trading, and infrastructure teams.
  • Ensure that all activities and transactions are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, internal operational risk framework and all relevant policies and standards.

Experiences:

  • 3-5 years’ experience within an operational role with related experience in over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives of FX transaction management
  • 3-5 years’ experience focused on control from an operational or finance perspective with an emphasis on efficiency
  • Prior work experience involving direct interaction with traders/front office

Other skills (Computer Skills, etc):

  • Excellent excel skills
  • Basic VBA knowledge
  • Python proficiency is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and strong problem-solving skills

Languages:

  • Fluent in English

Academics:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, or other relevant field of study
