About the role
The Louis Dreyfus Company are currently recruiting for an Assistant Ginner, based in Emerald QLD. You will be trained, mentored, and supported by your teammates, Site Manager and General Manager while staying in the local community and learning lifelong skills. This position is responsible for the efficient, effective and safe operation of all areas under their control as Assistant Ginner. This is an opportunity to build on your career in this unique manufacturing/mechanical/agricultural space in Kununurra.
Remuneration range will be tailored to the level of the role and to the individual depending on qualifications, experience, and knowledge. Relocation expenses can also be negotiated (if required).

Essential skills
- Mechanical experience or trade background
- Ability to identify/control weaknesses in process and implement best practices
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently takes initiative and challenges when required
- Good work ethic and team player
- Ability and willingness to interact effectively with all levels of employees and external stakeholders
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Desired but not essential skills
- Prior experience supervising staff in a maintenance/production environment
- Sound computer skills
