Main accountabilities:
- Help business to meet quality standard products and services by developing and improving quality control procedures through identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the existing production procedures, devising testing strategies for optimal performance and quality.
- Manage a team of Assistants in the performance of Quality Assurance related activities by leading and encouraging the team to reach all goals and standards while implementing the company's policies and regulations.
- Assist with the development of policies and procedures to ensure that the quality of coffee produced and exported is safe, of the specified quality, and meets all regulatory requirements.
- Ensures that the quality of the coffee processed is consistent and meets government and industry standards as well as customer expectations through planning, executing, and overseeing product inspection and testing from supply to export for quality and conformance to buyer and regulatory specifications.
- Provide training and support to quality assurance team members that covers systems, policies, procedures, and core processes.
- Investigate reports of product quality issues and ensure resolution in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Assist operations by tracking, documenting, reporting quality levels and reviewing and updating all quality related documents.
- Planning and implementing the strategy for achieving the targets in cooperation with other departments.
- Generate necessary reports to organize the quality department efficiency.
- To update reports and data base with daily operations
Food Safety Responsibilities:
- Planning and setting up and implementing the food safety system in your area of responsibility including collecting information of PRP’s and HACCP; Food Defense, Biovigilance and Bioterrorism, HACCP critical Control monitoring and all related tasks.
- Responsibility for internal and external audits
Experience
Experience |
- University degree in an agricultural or business related fields.
- Computer and MS Office proficiency
- Q, R grader certification
