We are seeking a Site Manager for our Warren Site in NSW. This key role at LDC is responsible for managing all site and supply chain activities, with a strong focus on safety, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement. The Site Manager will oversee warehouse and packing operations, ensure a safe working environment, and support commercial relationships through effective site-level customer management. Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager – South, the role requires strong planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key responsibilities will be but not limited to:
- Create, operate, and maintain a positive safety culture across all activities on-site. This will include regular reporting associated with safety compliance.
- Create and grow a positive team culture within their team, providing proactive management, mentoring and regular and relevant performance feedback.
- In conjunction with the leadership team, proactively and continuously look to develop operational strategies that maximise site efficiencies while balancing safety and customer service at all times;
- Proactively manage all staff requirements including coaching and development to maximise labour utilisation;
- Maximise equipment allocation and utilisation between all activities;
- Assist the EGM - LDC in the development of operational and capital budgets (5-year plan);
- Responsibility for the financial performance of the site including the understanding of all budgetary differences;
- Proactive input into site production forecasting and business planning;
- Oversee the maintenance of the fixed and mobile machinery within the site, including the development of an extensive preventative maintenance program;

Desired qualifications, skills and experience:
- Industry recognised grain sampling and inspection course
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to proactively improve processes and optimize resources/outcomes.
- Department of Agriculture Accreditation
- Grain Storage and Handling and/or Warehouse operation experience
- Adequate understanding of chain of responsibility obligations
- Risk identification accreditation.
- Manage a team of 5+ as well as a high number of casual seasonal employees
- Leadership and people management skills
