Main Responsibilities
- Active involvement and adherence to all safety requirements for LDC
- Participate in hazard and risk identification and all Site Safety meetings
- Actively participate in the day to day operations of all activities on-site
- Operate equipment and machinery in a manner that is efficient and effective, including completing pre start checks and daily maintenance requirements
- Completing administration and documentation in accordance with management requirements as required
- Willingness and ability to undertake training
- Participate in the correct storage and handling of all commodities kept by the division
- Able to work overtime and weekend work in peak periods
- Participate in maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of all areas of all sites within the region to the highest standard
- Ensuring information is shared and reported to the Site Manager or Team Leader as appropriate
- Commitment to undertake all training as required by the company
- Commitment to understanding and abide by all current company and policy as subject to change from time to time
- Manage general direction of casual employees

- Operating a forklift and/or other heavy machinery
Other skills (Computer Skills, etc)
- Sound numeracy, literacy, and communication skills
- A team player who is willing to work as part of a small team as well as autonomously as required
- Ability to work independently and interdependently
- Exposure to working in close knit teams
- Ability to follow conflict resolution or dispute resolution processes
- Ability to interpret and implement management instruction
- Basic understanding of LDC financial processes
- Ability to identify health and safety risks within your work environment
Physical Requirements
- Able to work in confined spaces
- Ability to work extended hours and shifts if/as required in accordance with company policy and procedure
- Ability to work safely in dusty conditions
- Ability to handle physically demanding activities
- Able to complete and pass an employment medical as requested by the company
- Sitting for long periods of times on machinery
