• Daily communicate with LD offshore offices for pricing and update local market environment, competition activity, government regulation…
• Daily contact customers and potential buyers.
• Build strong relationship with customers. Have good understanding of counterparty business and requirements via which to secure repeated trades.
• Make recommendation on reliability of local buyers. Expand customer base
• Understand cost structure of commodity traded.
• Implement business plan. Fulfill company target.
• Understand balance sheet of commodities trade. Able to work on and give up-date.
• Understand world trade flow as well as local.
• Able to come up with initiatives / solutions to solve problems or create new business.
• Cooperate with other traders and logistics for smooth execution.
• Monitor meat & feed sector in order to provide offshore offices with synthetic updates on trends.
• Monitor local supply and demand of various animal feed raw materials, and highlights trading opportunities in the domestic market.
• Explore new business opportunities, in particular new product lines, and upon greenlight from Singapore, actively pursue business development in those in cooperation with rest of Vietnam & SG teams
Experience
| Experience |
- Graduated from University of Economics major in Foreign Trade or equivalent
- Have experience in commodity trading/marketing agri-products (wheat, corn, soymeal…) and global regulator
- Have at least 3-4 year experience working in a multi-national corporation
- Have good, indeep knowledge of local feed and flourmilling industry.
- Good rapport with buyers and good reputation in the industry.
- Have analytic skill.
- Being pro-active and result-oriented.
- Effective communicator. Have great communication skills and negotiation skills in interaction with internal and external partners.
- Effective command of spoken and written English to work with foreigners & English speakers
- Able to work independently and under pressure. Have teamwork spirit.
- Able to travel upcountry and abroad
