The Communication Officer will support the global coordination and implementation of the Care Club 1851, a strategic initiative designed to nurture LDC’s company culture, promote employee wellbeing, and reinforce the family spirit across the organization. The role will focus particularly on communication-related activities, helping to bring the Care Club’s mission to life through engaging content, campaigns, and employee interactions.
Main Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Support
- Assist the Project Coordinator in the global rollout of Care Club 1851 activities.
- Liaise with country-level Care Club Committees to ensure alignment and consistency.
- Help track progress, collect feedback, and support reporting on initiative milestones.
Internal Communication
- Develop and disseminate engaging content (written and visual) to promote Care Club activities globally.
- Support the creation of newsletters, intranet updates, and internal campaigns related to Care Club themes (e.g., family spirit, inclusion, wellbeing).
- Coordinate with the Corporate Communications team to ensure brand and messaging consistency.
Event & Activity Support
- Help organize and promote Care Club events such as family days, “Bring Your Child to Work” days, and wellness initiatives.
- Assist in the documentation of events through photos, videos, and testimonials.
- Contribute to the development of toolkits and templates for local teams.
Digital & Social Media
- Support the creation of digital assets and social media content to highlight Care Club initiatives.
- Monitor engagement and contribute to monthly reporting on communication effectiveness.
Experience
- Expected to have 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, internal communications, or employee engagement.
- Experience in a global organization is a plus.
- Familiarity with corporate culture and wellbeing initiatives desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively across cultures and functions.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Other skills (Computer Skills, etc)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience with intranet platforms (e.g., SharePoint).
- Good knowledge of design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
Languages:
- Fluent in English (mandatory); other languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French) are a plus.
Academics
- University degree in Communications, Human Resources, Marketing, or related field.
