What kind of talent is LDC looking for?

As LDC’s business evolves and grows, our need for diverse talent has grown, though always with our core values and convictions in common. Above all, LDC looks for individuals who embrace change with curiosity – this is crucial in a dynamic business environment that is in constant evolution, and where there is no shortage of challenges. It’s important for all LDC team members to not only adapt to change but also embrace it with a future-facing mindset. We are on the lookout for talents who excel at innovating - challenging the status quo in an ever-changing industry where new challenges and opportunities arise continually. We encourage keen observers, brave entrepreneurs and perpetual learners to join LDC’s ongoing quest to understand our landscape, capture opportunities and address challenges. Inclusiveness and result-driven collaboration are also crucial traits we value in our teams, as LDC’s growth and long-term success - in China and globally - is the product of collective efforts in pursuit of shared goals.

How does LDC invest in the growth and development of #TeamLDC?

To support our teams in achieving their full potential, building a learning culture and organization, and creating space for professional exploration is key. We envision every member of TeamLDC having the opportunity to acquire skills aligned with their career aspirations through their work experiences. We also stimulate our teams to learn through internal and external training courses, including those we offer as part of our dedicated e-learning platform, and to engage in personal learning exchanges with colleagues across the company. We also encourage employees in voicing career development goals, as a basis to understand learning needs and help define and navigate career paths with clear success profiles and related training plans, aligning these with company goals, for mutual benefit.

What does LDC’s 50-year journey in China mean to you?

Reflecting on LDC’s 50-year journey in China, through the lens of human resources, I see progress from traditional, company-centric strategies to a model that nurtures mutual value for both the company and its employees. Attracting great talent is not limited to competitive compensation and benefits, and a good working environment – it’s also about a sustainable career development model that supports employees in continuously acquiring new knowledge and skills that support their own career goals and company goals. We cherish this culture, and the progress we’ve made, and will continue to grow our legacy, writing another brilliant chapter for LDC’s future in China.
