Overview / Brief

The Global Price Service role is core to the pricing activity of LDC. Its role is to gather, centralise all the prices required for LDC pricing, Risk and Control teams. It provides and facilitate solutions for analytics used by the platforms and other LDC functions.

The Price Control Team is a new team setup in the heart of the Global Price Services, part of DT&A (Digital Technology & Analytics) function. The team is based in Sofia however its consumers are located globally.

The Price Control Team is responsible for the lifecycle and availability of Proprietary and exchanges prices, market data and economic data).

It will be the key contact regarding pricing, economic data, curves methodology, and will be working closely with the trading platforms, Risk Management (market and Credit risk), Finance and Controllers, Data Science, and research teams.

Its role will be to create, manage, ensure the validation of the Pricing data. It will work closely with the Datafeed team to source the data, and with the Business Analysts who manage the projects with the trading   platforms.

This role is for a position of price Service Delivery Manager, who will be heading the Price Control team. This is a new position, and initially will have one direct report (new position). In summary the Price Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for:

  • The management of the Data required by Prices Services and their users (Trading Platforms, Risk Management, Controllers, Finance, Data Science, Research).
  • The validation of the market data used for pricing, risk management.
  • The generation of KPI related to pricing and market data.
  • Created innovative solutions helping in the management of the data and its dataset.
  • Management of the Price Control Team and report activity to the service manager.
  • Delivery of all prices, market data across LDC.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible of the creation of the market data/ prices required by the commodity business (trading platforms).
  • Maintenance of the validation of the curve calculation.
  • Coordinate with Middle Office, Risk and Controllers the needs from pricing data.
  • Manage the Roles and Responsibilities, Governance in the Price Data Management.
  • Provide KPI. Reporting on the consumption of the prices in the Price Central Database.
  • Providing Innovative suggestion on the Prices Data Management
  • Keen interest in Analytics and AI, to bring innovative ideas into Price Control Data Management.
  • Manage the roadmap for the Price Control Team and its strategy.
  • Implement with the Service Manager the strategy related to Market Data Management.

 

Experience:

  • Min 5 years’ experience in Middle Office, Risk or Controllers roles. If in Commodities is a plus.
  • Team Manager experience required.
  • Good communicator and stakeholders’ management.
  • Experience in Data Providers (desirable)
  • Previous functional experience in Market data area applied to Commodities and Financial products (futures, swaps options, forex) will be a strong plus.
  • IT complex multi-interfaces architecture implementation experiences will be considered as a plus.
  • Previous experience in a client facing role will be considered a plus.
