Trade Support Analyst

About the role

We are currently recruiting for the position of Trade Support Analyst in our Brisbane office.  This position supports the cotton trading team and supports the facilitation of pricing and execution of commodities. 

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the coordination with various departments, contract control, finance, domestic and international logistics and shipping to consolidate information for analysis
• Support the trader in daily bid-offer updates and communication to other team members 
• Support the trader in daily activity reporting and inventory of warehouse stocks
• Updating sales files by coordinating in international offices.
• Assisting in special projects such as capex planning, bulk shipments, logistical solutions etc.
• Assisting in research tasks including daily and weekly updates on the market and market changes, market analysis and trading strategy.

• Ability to work autonomously
• Adaptive to change, and ability to work under pressure
• Strong decision-making ability and attention to detail

• Exposure to trade commodities industry
