Louis Dreyfus Company Successfully Issues €500 Million Senior Unsecured Bond Under Newly Established EMTN Program
Rotterdam, The Netherlands, April 14, 2026 – Louis Dreyfus Company Finance B.V. announced today the successful pricing of a €500 million, 7-year, senior bond (BBB+, with stable outlook by S&P Global Ratings) with a 4.000% coupon guaranteed by Louis Dreyfus Company B.V. (LDC). This marks the Group’s first issuance under its newly established Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) program. Application has been made to list the bonds on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange’s regulated market.
The operation attracted 280 orders for an overall amount that peaked at €6 billion. The significant oversubscription, high‑quality and diversified investor base across Europe, the UK and Asia and favorable pricing highlight the market’s strong confidence in LDC’s signature, growth trajectory and solid financial position.
“Our EMTN program has been established to support LDC’s long‑term funding strategy and enhance financial flexibility. Under this program, and building on LDC’s public rating (BBB+ with stable outlook) by S&P Global Ratings, the Group was able to raise funds with excellent conditions, even amid volatile markets,” said Sébastien Landerretche, LDC’s Chief Financial Officer.
The offering is expected to close on April 21, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
BNP Paribas, MUFG, Natixis, Rabobank and SMBC acted as Active Joint Lead managers on the transaction.
